Take Back Your Body With The HCG Diet Program

When it comes to losing weight, most people understand that the process is not always easy. By design, the human body tends to hang on to fat deposits once they are developed. This can make fat difficult to get rid of once it has formed, however, it is imperative that individuals keep their BMI in a healthy range. Below, we have listed a few risks associated with an unhealthy BMI.

  • Type II Diabetes: Diabetes is typically a metabolic disorder where the body is unable to effectively produce insulin or the insulin that it does produce is ineffective at regulating a person’s blood sugar. However, if a person has an unhealthy BMI and is unable to effectively control their weight they can develop type II diabetes. Developing type II diabetes can lead to a wide range of health issues and should be avoided at all costs. Type II diabetes can typically be controlled by losing weight.
  • Sleep Apnea: Sleep apnea is a common sleep disorder that affects millions of people each year. This disorder is characterized by brief pauses in breathing or shallow breathing while a person is asleep. The results of sleep apnea include restless nights and sleepiness during the day, however, in its more extreme iterations sleep apnea can lead to serious breathing problems while a person is asleep. A high BMI is one of the leading risk factors in relation to sleep apnea due to the fact that an overweight person is more likely to have a buildup of fat around his or her neck, making it much more difficult for them to breath while lying on their back.
