The hCG Diet is Effective
Although it may not seem like it, the hCG diet has been around for over half a century. The hCG diet first came into prominence during the 1960s, however, it fell out of favor in the late 80s due to negative public perception and lack of testing. However, over the past few years, the hCG diet has made quite the comeback as more and more people are turning toward to the diet as a viable weight loss option. As more and more people begin to try the hCG diet, more people are learning that hCG can be administered in many different forms. Below, we have listed the three most common ways that hCG is administered and some of the benefits associated with each of them.
- Shots: The most common way the hCG is administered is through injections. While hCG injections are the most common way the hCG is administered to patients, it is also one of the most controversial elements of the entire diet. Often times, the idea of daily injections frightens people away from the hCG diet at first. They shudder at the thought of shots and could never imagine actually getting a shot every single day. However, after discussing the pros and cons of hCG injections with our clients, 95 percent of them tend to choose the shots over another method of delivery. hCG injections contain very little hCG, make use of very small, thin needles, and most of our clients say that they cannot even feel the injections after they got used to them. The hCG is the fastest method of delivery and helps to deliver the most consistent results in relation to the amount of hCG in a person’s system at any given time.
- Pills: To combat the squeamishness of people, a pill version of hCG was released in order to give people another option over hCG injections. In the early days of hCG pills, they were not very effective. Over the years, various types of hCG pills were put onto the market, however, most of them had some sort of trait that made them a less than desirable hCG delivery method. For example, Troches, one of the earliest hCG pills, was known to not dissolve properly in the stomach and was also rather difficult for people to swallow. Luckily, advancements in hCG pills have lead to the rapid dissolving tablet. The rapid dissolving tablet, or RDT for short, has quickly established itself as an effective way to administer hCG to the human body and is typically offered at all hCG diet clinics.
- Oral Drops: The newest method of hCG administration, oral drops, has been met with some controversy in the hCG diet world. While this method of administration would certainly be easier and faster than injections or pills, more research needs to be done to ensure that the appropriate levels of hCG are being administered. Through our own research, we have found that there are varying guidelines as to how much hCG should be taken orally, whether or not oral hCG supplements can be mixed with other liquids, and the amount of time that the oral drops need to stay in a person’s mouth to be effective. Because there is no set regulation on oral hCG drops, we do not offer them at New Beginnings Medical.
