If a food did not enhance his findings he eliminated it. For example: Why chicken and not turkey? The reason is simple, turkey was found to be a hindrance to the success Dr. Simeons was looking for. He also states,“don’t mix vegetables.” This seems odd, but the results were clear. Mixing vegetables gave a variance in weight loss. How much is unknown, but why risk it?
